Le rette dei nidi privati hanno un costo mediamente più alto del 33% rispetto a quelle dei nidi pubblici. L’analisi dell’Inps ha anche evidenziato che il bonus copre il 59,7% delle spese per i nidi privati e il 70,5% per quelli pubblici, ma quest’ultimo può raggiungere anche il 100% se vengono integrati con altri sostegni erogati da Enti e comuni.

In 2022, the national average monthly amount was €213 for a child attending a private nursery and €189 for a public nursery. The bonus is based on the family’s ISEE income and is not adjusted for inflation. The highest average bonus for private nurseries was found in Sardinia, while the lowest was in Trentino Alto Adige. Among public nurseries, Veneto had the highest average amount, while Sicily had the lowest. The report also highlighted that 53% of families chose public nurseries, with the remaining 47% opting for private ones. In the Southern regions of Italy, the percentage of attendance at private nurseries rose to 67%, indicating the greater reliance on these facilities and a lack of availability in public services. The report further showed that the cost of private nurseries is, on average, 33% higher than that of public nurseries. The monthly average invoice submitted to the INPS for private nurseries was €357, compared to €268 for public nurseries. Milan had the highest costs, followed by Parma and Bologna, while Agrigento and Foggia had the lowest. The INPS analysis also revealed that the bonus covers 59.7% of the private nursery costs and 70.5% of the public nursery costs on average. This percentage could reach 100% for public nurseries, as the nursery bonus can be combined with other supports provided by local authorities and other entities until the full amount is covered.
