Dalmiglio, who has nearly 25 years of experience in the real estate sector, was previously a partner in the Corporate Finance team at Deloitte. He will succeed Angus Potterton, who has been leading Savills Italy for the past three years and will continue to work with the company during the transition period. Gianni Flammini will remain as the company’s president.
Dalmiglio’s appointment comes at a time of growth for Savills in Italy. The company recently added Beliving, a company specializing in the sale and rental of prestigious residential properties, to its portfolio. In addition, Savills has expanded its business lines over the past 18 months, including Building & Project Consultancy, Esg, Office Leasing, Property Management Business Space, Industrial & Logistics, and Hospitality & Leisure. The company currently employs nearly 200 professionals in Italy and offers a comprehensive range of real estate services to its clients.
James Sparrow, CEO of Savills UK and EMEA, stated that Dalmiglio’s extensive experience in capital markets and finance will contribute to the company’s growth in Italy. Dalmiglio himself expressed his goal of rebalancing the business by focusing more on transactional aspects and capital markets, while also seeking opportunities in Italy and attracting investment capital.

Meanwhile, Potterton, after leading Savills Ireland for 15 years, will step down as CEO and Managing Director of Savills Italy, a role he held for 3 years, but will continue working with the Italian company to ensure a smooth transition and will remain on the board of directors of Savills Italy in addition to his role as an advisor to Savills Emea. Gianni Flammini will continue to serve as the company’s chairman.
